MONOCHROMATIC

I create static compositions that move. They sway. There is a balance. I try to make the forms work, overlaying them, filling and emptying spaces. Seeking relief. Creating lights and shadows. As if the dialogue of forms were frozen music. I try to convey silence. I start with gravity, balance, weights... My works are rational, but I am not looking for functionalism as mathematics, but as harmony with the aim of delighting. I am inspired by brutalism, concrete murals, modernist portals, constructivism, retro architecture... and I design my work by intuitively imagining a composition.
