CHROMATIC
I distort what I see and make it my own. In my paintings, I aim to harmonize a scene, with shapes interlocking with each other, seeking to evoke sensuality and create a poetry of curves, pieces, and textures. I reduce everything to its essence using forms and lines, and I add color based on 70s interiors, my influence from fashion, decoration, and architecture. I like to capture the viewer's imagination. I want them to enjoy what they see without explanation, to not understand the obvious. Behind the cerebral and orderly appearance of my works, there is anarchy and spontaneity. I define the scene but intend for it to be interpreted. As Peter Pierre Szekely said, "my art is a form of communication with a language of signs that are to be read intuitively in a graphic context."
